Here at Oasis Hub South Grimsby we’re involved every week in helping to put food on the table for struggling families through the work of our food pantry, we are supporting people burdened by debt, people that are struggling with mental health conditions, and working with young people to help them to flourish and grow.
We also provide support to those who are vulnerable and have been impacted by violence. We get involved in many community projects and help people and young people gain confidence, improve their social skills and give them extra support when they need it the most. We provide a range of activities plus much, much more!

FOOD PANTRY AND PROJECTS
We understand that sometimes we all have months that are financially hard, this has lead us to launch our own food pantry supporting the local community with food parcels. We have many food projects and initiatives that we offer throughout the year including cooking classes, the slower cooker project, and the holiday food provision for the Oasis Academies.
Our Hub team and volunteers are here to support with food assistance. The Hub allows people to be directly referred to us in order to receive a food parcel, referrals can be made via the academy or other third parties.
If a student or family is identified as urgently in need of a food parcel due to difficult circumstances, the Hub is able to access support within 24 hours. You can also access the open sessions on Tuesday’s and Friday’s between 10am-12pm where people can access fresh fruit and vegetables from our community fridge.
The Hub provides this service to families of the Oasis Academies and to those within our community who require emergency food assistance.
The food pantry exists for those who are not eligible for the local community shop and are struggling their finances. Oasis Hub South Grimsby works as part of the larger North East Lincolnshire food forum to help alleviate food poverty in North East Lincolnshire.
The food pantry is open to all and if you require a food parcel please click here.
The food pantry also allows families to donate items to help others too. If you would like to donate please click here.
